Alberta Abbey is an affordable home for the arts in NE Portland, Oregon. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Alberta Abbey hosts events and provides below-market work space to artists and arts organizations, affordable event rental spaces, and signature programming that is responsive to the desires of neighbors and the city’s arts community.
Client Challenge
- Their old website was very dated and in need of a serious redesign
- They needed a better way to showcase their events and rental space
- SEO was decent, but Alberta -Abbey wanted us to shore up on-page SEO to ensure high search results for their keyword terms
- Website needed to connect with their online event booking app
- They needed improvements on their event calendar which was old and didn’t accurately list all of their events

- Using WordPress’s Divi theme, redesigned a unique concept layout
- Unified the image sizes so clients can submit images that will be used in multiple places on the site
